Melody Jane has been working in comic zines for 5 years, known mostly for her tragicomic saga titled “My Life In Toilets”, described by critics as being “like if Marcel Duchamp had his own Barbenheimer”. Much of Melody’s art is inspired by climate collapse anxiety and working class history. A collection of her zines are being featured at the Vancouver Art Gallery exhibit Copy Machine Manifestos: Artists Who Make Zines, running from May 12 – September 22.
