Nhatt Nichols is a multidisciplinary artist and writer raised on top of a mountain in the Okanogan, Washington State.
A graduate of The Royal Drawing School in London, she uses drawing, poetry, and comics to break down political and environmental issues. Her work centers around rural narratives, forests, borders, and food systems. You can find her graphic journalism in High Country News, Civil Eats, and The Daily Yonder, and This Party of the Soft Things (Bored Wolves, 2022), a book-length poem about a post-people planet, is in its second printing.
Nhatt loves finding new ways to use radical hope and beautiful images to meet people where they are and ask them to reach deeper.
