Nick Francis Potter is a cartoonist and educator living in Columbia, MO. He is the author of Big Gorgeous Jazz Machine (Driftwood Press), Static Gifs (Greying Ghost Press), and New Animals (Subito Press), among other self-published zines and comics. He teaches writing, comics, and video games courses at the University of Missouri. His work engages in magic realism, absurdist humor, conceptual art, and experiments with the comics form.
